Values

In my humble opinion, when I look at the current education system and the society perceptions in measuring the success are all about academic grades; assets or wealth in hand; the power and status in one's position and the society; and materials that covering every piece of individual.


We are trying so hard to have everything mentioned as above. These can easily spotted right from birth. Which hospitals to deliver? what diaper's brand? which early child development programs? which pre-school? which kindergarten? which popular hard to get in primary & secondary schools? which well-known college/university? then comes the dream job in MNC, high salary, high post, promotions, nice car, nice wedding, nice house, nice holidays and the cycle starts all over when the newborn comes...


We sit for all sort of tests from academic, driving license, professionals qualifications (Lawyers, CFP, Doctors, Accountants, diving, makeup, ISO, personal trainer, train the trainer) and many many many many more just to obtain any recognized certificates, degrees or licenses in order to stay competitive in this highly competitive society.


But finally a good news in life that does not need any test or license...The Values. Helping others, Integrity, be Enthusiastic, Passionate in life, Courtesy, Humbleness...all these qualities needed to deal with what mentioned on all the above have no official tests or certificates needed yet we neglected most and these are what majority fails...we have all the materials needed to live in this society but rarely we have the values needed to live our life.


Yes, not all because 80/20 rules still applies or due to the changes, is now moving to 90/10? No research done and no references to back this view, purely my own swallow perceptions.

Me & Myself

I can hear my breathing, wait... am I really breathing? I think I am but I hardly feel my heartbeat.

For a period of time, I can't feel my heartbeat, I can't feel I'm actually living. I do not know what I was thinking or what I was doing. I was like a robot doing my daily routine, everything seems making sense but deep down I know I was just not right at all.

I was alone in an invisible cave I created it myself. I was alone when I'm alone, I was alone when I was in crowd, I was alone when I'm having tea with friends, I was alone while I was talking to my friend.

Although I keep telling myself that I shouldn't feel like this and I need to walk out from my cave, but somehow I am just enjoying being inside and I refuse to walk out. Someday, someday...I will...for the time being, I just want to be alone, just me & myself...

Habit

In life we always keep searching for something better and most of the time we didn't realize we already found what we are looking for, or we simply do not need the best but needed what completes us.

I remember a story I heard long ago. A man was told a priceless stone is among thousands of stones near the beach, what he needs to do is to pick up the stone one by one, the difference of the precious stone is it is warm when he holds it, the rest are all cold as ice. So he starts picking his stones day by day, he picks, feels, the colds will then throw to the sea.

1st one...cold, 2nd...cold, 3rd...cold, 4th..cold, 5th...6...10...50...100...The next day 1...2...7...30...50...100...The third day 1...5...10...40...70...100...Everyday he will make it a habit to pick 100 stones.Day by day, month by month, 100...300...500...1000...2000...He believes he will surely find it someday. One afternoon, he stopped at 3065 stones and started crying...because he just thrown away a warm stone at count of 3064.

He believes he will find it but what he didn't realized was that 'pick & throw' became his habit. Sometimes habit make us lost what we suppose to have, make us neglected to stop and think of what are we holding in hand.

Celebration of Staying Alive

"Pregnancy and childbirth remain among the leading causes of death of women worldwide; every day, one woman per minute dies while giving birth or soon after. An additional 10 million to 15 million women suffer complications or injuries resulting from the act of giving life." - Time Magazine

After reading this article featured in Time Magazine, it reminds me again how high risk it is for pregnancy and childbirth. I can still recall years back, a friend was in coma during her childbirth, woke up with memory lost. Luckily her memory regained after a week with all the photos flashing. And after that, she even shared with me how she made a return after death.


I must salute to all mothers out there, bearing the risk of pregnancy, childbirth and also the chances of weight gain, ugly body shape, lost of freedom during the child's growing and not forgetting the fear of husband having affair due to lost of attractiveness...


I think with these few points, is worth all the men treat women with full respect. To husbands out there, Next time before you want to yell or complaint about your wife, please thank her for risking her life to give you a complete family, and don't ever ruin it yourself.


I must say every childbirth is not only a celebration for a  new life but also a celebration of staying alive in such a high risk task for the mother.

Woman dress hard; Man work hard ^^

Woman dressed up to please their man; Man worked hard to impress their woman.

Husband...
If you see your wife groom herself nicely, please be proud of yourself and her, because she values you so much and because of your capability, you are able to up keep her as good as before marrying her.
So, next time when you see your woman spend on grooming, just say "Honey, you look beautiful,  thank you for loving me ^^"

Wife..
If your man work hard for his work, do not complaint, that's because he is trying to protect you and the family with all the securities he can provides. Making sure to bring back foods on the table.
So, next time when you see your man working late, just tell him "Darling, you are the man that I want to be with forever, I am feeling safe whenever with you, thank you for loving me ^^"

So many nights I cried, so I can smile when tomorrow comes...
So many days I miss you, so I will love you more and more...
So many ways I've tried, so I have no regret when I look back...
So much faith I need, so I have no doubts in what I am doing...
So many dreams I'm holding, so I I know I am living my life...

For things to change, I must change first!

I am not necessary to have the ability to see weakness in others but I must be able to see weakness in myself...
Seeing weakness in others does not change my life, but seeing weakness in myself will shape me.

Love & Trust

Do not take advantage or take granted of love and trust given to you, you do not know when you will lose it, but once you lost it, you going to lost it forever...unless you are able to find love in yourself, find trust in others...then you are able to have it again.

Emotional vs Rational

Being rationa or emotional do not change a relationship but time and surounding will... A relationship is beautiful when emotionally involve and is not tiring, it is always being rational in a relationship kills all the true feeling and romance about love.

Man Vs Woman

ZuanHeng put on his facebook status sometimes ago... "a women can never win a man..so stop acting tough all the chickies out there..but they can always melt a man..use your tool wise..man is always a man and women is always a women..".
I was so agreed with it, which I am all this while. And I commented this "agree...agree...agree...I believe in that...if woman win over a man, she will regret forever...Why wanna win over man? let my man does all the tough job and I sit at a conner admire and feel protected and secured, after he finish bring him a glass of cool Rebena...muahahaha...easy life..."
No matter man or woman, as long as we love our partner, respect them, appreciaate them and give unconditionally...love will be there someday...if not, we can only say "too bad...loving someone at a wrong timing."
My conclusion is...as what ZH said too...
Man wants to be admire.
