I used to have very low tolerance to people who love manipulating, but as I grow older, I started to understand that people who love manipulation simply because they are jealous, and jealousy is all due to lack of self confidence and low self-esteem, therefore desperately seeking for power, attention and love.

七碗饭的故事

多年前我的导师对我讲了一个七碗饭的故事。听他重复了两回，似懂非懂。若干年后的某一天，突然恍然大悟。
一个人吃了一碗饭， 觉得不够饱， 再吃多一碗，还是不饱，再多吃一碗，再一碗，再一碗，直到第七碗，终于饱了。
到底是前面的第一碗，还是第二碗，或是接下来的第三，四，五，六碗，还是最后的第七碗饭让他觉饱呢？
我记得当时我回答”第七碗“。

每一回的领悟，到底吃了第几碗？

Tranquility Forty Four

Back to 31°.

Had an amazing self-drive birthday trip, a sentimental journey filled with moments of tranquility, gratification and abundance in my heart.

My must in my packing list ^^

Day 1

10:30 - left KL, pumped in petrol RM65.50, top-up my T&Go RM100 and had my fav accompanied me on my 4 hours journey. 

14:30 - reached Penang! I'm back after my last 2011 Penang Bridge 21km run. 

14:30 - My first stop and also my favorite kopitiam (Genting Cafe) before going in to Bt. Ferringhi yummy char kwey teow and muachi ^^

Is ony RM3.80 with egg, prwns and Chinese sausage.

13:30 - Here I am! finally reached my birthday treat after a long drive. Lone Pine Hotel at Batu Ferringhi. Falling in love on first sight, lush greenery, colonial architecture, warm and smiley hospitality. Thank much to a friend's help, booked my room at a good rate. (RM583.73)

21:00 - walked out to Persiaran Batu Ferringhi, walked around and had my dinner at The Ship. (RM28)

22:00 - It was a nice feeling chillax at my balcony while listening to the sound of raindrops and thunder.

After breakfast, strolled around before check out to my next stop - Georgetown.

Life Is Interesting

Lately got in touch with a long lost touch friend.

Friend: How's life?

Me: Life is interestingly simple. Children all grown up independently when playing, dependently when paying; money just enough for me to buy another cup of coffee and a piece of cake other then my meals; body few kilograms overweight but healthy; gigi (teeth) start falling off so I'm smiling far more then laughing now; thanks to hair coloring keeping me 10 years younger; wrinkles and lines are growing as fast as inflation; next husband still hiding dunno where will soon send a troop to search.

This is truly a great place to spend a homey morning, hearty lunch, and warm dinner. Absolutely falling in love with their soft and homey decoration, I was tempting to hop around the cafe and sit on every corner.
