Happiness is a measurement tape for life. Mind consists of attitude and character, and these form by the values we have towards the society and the universal law. When we go against the righteousness of the society or the universe, we find pain; therefore our body act according to what we think.
If we are feeling sad just let it be because this is the law of universe, what goes up must come down. We find pain only when our values towards something is not right. Pain is an indicator or alarm when something goes wrong, so that we know we need to stop, think, reflex, change and adjust.
