Typica 豆原 opened a new outlet at Bangsar. After my workout this afternoon, thought of having a slice of cake and coffee from Les Deux Garcons. Passed by a small shop hiding next to a shop, (sorry but don't know who is their neighbor because was attracted to this tiny boutique cafe and totally ignore who's next :p

Walked in and I found my non-stop smiles :) Will not tell much, go check it out, you will find a lot of surprises there ;)

当我们又在一起

昨晚和认识了37年的小学老朋友聚会, 有的相隔了数年再相聚, 有的近30年后再聚, 感触少不了。有欣慰, 有缅怀,有感慨。看到老面孔健康及与家人过的幸福感欣慰。忆大家过去小不点的日子感缅怀, 听到熟悉的名字不在了深感惋惜。 

岁月也一定在大家的生活添加了很多的起落。庆幸再相聚时, 我们还带着一样的笑容。

没办法出席的老朋友, 我们没忘记, 你们的名字还挂在咀里, 离开了的朋友我们还藏在心里。 

每一天都为大家祈祷, 祈求大家与家人每一天过的幸福,健康,快乐。

Main Main Cafe ★★★★★

Just visited a new cozy cafe located at Jalan Choo Cheng Kay. Another homey concept similar to Poco Homemade (closed down).

They do not serve coffee but many types of flower teas. You can have a relax afternoon with some flower tea and delicious cake or some specialty lunch like pumpkin rice or homemade nasi lemak.

I spent a late Sunday morning with a piece of mango mousse cake and rice tea with 70s & 80s songs playing on the background, was travelling the memory lane on a quiet Sunday till the lunch crowds started to fill up this little hidden space.

Reasonable price, LOHA like concept, heart felt decorations and the cafe is a craft center too! That's why it falls in my 5 stars listing.

花香

刚买了一些薰衣草和玫瑰，趁着下雨天，泡了一壶散发着暖暖花香的花茶，还自制了一些薰衣草玫瑰冰淇淋。嗅觉，味觉都很好。 可能薰衣草的淡淡香味吧，连心情都特好了。

记得当年年纪小...

前几天想起小学同学，有很长的一段时间没见面了，就在Whatsapp 开了个聊天室，把老同学齐聚一堂。谈着聊着把一些久未见面的老同学也找出来了。于是往相簿翻一翻，发黄的照片一张一张都跳出来了 <3 期待熟悉的老面孔再相聚。

人生是一场马拉松？

看了一则广告，回想起四十一岁那年频密参加竞跑的心情。

也不知道为什么那一年频频参加跑步竞赛。第一个长跑就参加了十五公里，也没想行不行， 也没有任何朋友一起参加，就凭自己每一天二十分钟的跑步习惯就贸贸然参加了。

开跑的前两公里被其他的参赛者乱了心，乱了步。看着别人开跑如箭一般，心也慌了。“怎么那么快？”，“哇！这个超有型的”，“那个体力真好”，“我跑的完吗？”，“呀，开始累了，怎么办？”，就这样我的两公里就满脑子想，而忘了自己的步伐。我开始静下心把自己定下来，告诉自己“这不对，我今天来是为自己跑，不是跟别人比。” 就这样开始找回自己的步伐，呼吸规律，跑出自己。凭着第一次的经验，接下来的数个竞跑活动都靠着跟自己比的心态完成。

最后参加的活动是槟威大桥的半马拉松。还记得那天早上四点起床，在滂沱大雨下完成了一场近三个小时的体力及意志力的长跑。

自从那次的二十一公里后，我没再参加任何竞跑活动。一直不明白为什么，直到今天这则广告，我开始明白为什么。。。当我们跑着别人定下的路线与时间时，我们只有拼命跑，希望尽快完成，偶尔看看沿途景物调剂及分散跑道上的疲累。跑完后一切归零，奖牌放在架上成为历史。我终于明白为什么我没有再继续追。

Caltura Bakery ★★★★★

Today after fetching mom, swing by to Poko Homemade, and realized they just took over by a new cafe Caltura Bakery. Luckily interior are still as cozy and warm. Friendly smiles, soft music, soothing new colors, very nice coffee and delicious crepe. Surely a place will be back for more :)
