Dr Mahathir Mohamad wrote his memorial and many says he is living in his delusions. I do not understand why the people can never remember and appreciate the goods he has done to the country but keep digging and holding the bads. Why are the people can't acknowledge his effort for the past 20years of builds? Or maybe we simply been through a revolution during his time that's why it takes longer for us to accept and see it.
Running a business with less than 100 employees is a challenge, expanding a business to 5000 employees is a greater challenge, venturing a local business into global market is a brave move, making the company bold and shine in the international market is a success. If you understand how difficult to run a company while you are paying the employees, you will understand how challenging to run a country but paying the people indirectly.
An artist find it hard to discipline him/herself when make well-known in the industry, an individual finds it difficult walking out from his/her job which hates it most, a family finds it tough to sustaining the family's happiness. Yet we have so little tolerant on what he has done for our country, we can't even bare with a 80 years old grandfather's story. Some politicians saying it from the benefits point of view, how about us? As a child of Malaysia, I'm blessed once had a great leader like him.
Did he made any mistake during his time? Yes, indeed he did. Who is not and never? I'm seeing clearly why our country stop growing. A mistake we always did not only to ourself but to others. We see bad in others but good in us. Will it means we are not allow to point out the bads and blinded and fool ourself believing seeing the good? Will it means we pretend we do not see or hear corruptions? Will it means we keep quiet on every wrong doings? Nope, we acknowledge the bads and help improve it with the right manner. I believe the righteous find its way out. One day when we stop seeing the bad in others but seeing the good, a beautiful place we live here.
Malaysia is a bless country rich in resources, multi-racial and human touch. A country free from natural disasters, beautiful landscape with tropical rain forests, rich marine lives. Why a beautiful country like this only with a handful of grateful souls to appreciate and give and most to take. To my dear Malaysians, can we stop being selfish, blaming and finding faults on everything but start loving our country like before, love her as she is but not because she belongs to any political party? Love her because she is Malaysia.
