It was a wonderful dive trip that I had last week, my first trip to Perhentian. Being a Malaysian, almost touching my 40 years staying in Malaysia, yes, first time :p
Four of us, Jordi, Jaime, Beatrice and me. Started our journey around 11pm at night from Bangsar with my
Alza. (oh...I must promote this, I love this car...specious, good pick up at 1500cc, economic fuel consumption - RM160 for almost 1200km...wondering will Perodua send me a thank you note with this advertisement :D ) The journey took us almost 7 hours to reach Kuala Besut. (The Route - Bangsar->Ipoh->Kuala Kangsar->Gerik->Jeli->Tanah Merah->Pasir Putih->Kuala Besut) We then had some light breakfast (light because can't eat much after the whole night zombie'ing) and a nap while waiting for 7.30am boat transfer to Pulau Perhentian.
We were welcomed by Peisee, one of the owner of Bubble Dive Resort. A very nice quiet isolated resort at Tanjung Tukas, I think there is another resort next to it but hardly notice it, so I take it as isolated. :p Jordi was doing his OWD for the trip, pity him with no rest and started his class at 10am. Jaime, Beatrice and me had a good rest, did our first dive at 2pm right after lunch.
Done 7 dives, I must say I love this despite some of the dives with bad visibility. I saw many nice stuffs...One of the highlight of the trip was witnessing the cuttlefish mating, this worth all the long hours drive and bad vis.
I saw Blue Spotted Stingray, Bamboo Shark, Map Puffer, Pipefish, Shrimpgoby, Raggy & Devil Scorpionfish, Bat fish, Cowtail Stingray, Brownbanded Pipefish, Box fish, nudi nudi and nudis....so many :)

Welcome to the underwater world ^^ |
I love diving, I love it when I'm under water I hear only my own breathing, I love it when I can move freely with no gravity, I love it when I know I'm exploring 2/3 of the world. Seeing all the interesting marine lives is a bonus to me. I am not an advance diver, I appreciate breath I'm taking underwater, complaining the visibility is just for the sake of complaining :p in actual fact, I don't really care as long as I have my nitrogen gas :D
Overall, we all had a good rest and relax time at the resort except Jordi busy with his OWD license ^^ Nice place, nice people, ok foods :p met some new friends Kathleen our dive master, the two Eric(s), Rodney, Dollah from
Bubble Dives, two Chris(s), Samantha ^^ Will I make a trip back? Yes, for sure I will and I'm just hoping is happening NOW! Thank you all for making my trip happening! ^^
