Picasa Web 201009 Chiling WaterfallsHad a wonderful trip to Chiling Waterfalls near Kuala Kubu Bahru with Emily, Sue Wei, and friends over the long Hari Raya holiday. The hike was good, sunny day, nice weather.
The trip started late around 9am after breakfast meet up at Giza Kayu. It was suppose to be a small group outing with 5 or 6 and it turned up to 15. It took only an hour drive from Kota Damansara, reached there around 10am and with some photo postings, we ended started our hike around 10.30am.
It was an easy hike, except without finding more information about the trip, I was wearing my old running shoe and ended with lots of taking off and wearing back my shoe on each river crossing. Four river crossings, and I finally given up on and off my shoe at the last crossing :p
The hike suppose to take an hour but due to the long holiday, we don't find the slow traffic on the road but in the jungle. It took us an hour and a half to reach the first waterfalls which I was told it was suppose an hour trek. The first waterfalls was nice but we didn't stay there for long, because it was crowded. We went further up with another 15minutes hike to reach another waterfalls :) No one else except 15 of us for the first 30minutes until another group came.
Photos, foods, laughs, chill are all I can describe, lovely trip with nice people. Me, Yee Fan and Regina left earlier at 1pm. While walking back we were lost for twice but luckily we still found our way out :p Back to PJ wrapped up with a famous Teoh Chew mee suah recommended by YF. A lovely chillaxing day...love it :)
